Once again as a huge Ali Edwards fan, I've chosen a word for 2011. My word this year is nurture.
This layout has been forming in my head for quite some time. I've been wanting to do layers of ruffles on the side of a layout and I love how it's turned out. All the papers used on this layout are from My Mind's Eye.
As the journaling reads below, when thinking about my goals for 2011, the word that best summed them up was nurture.
The large numbers for my title were cut using the Slice machine. A simple rhinestone from Zva Creative (CR-02CB-101) on either end defines it nicely.
And this is my absolute favourite Zva Creative flourish (CRB-03CA-113)- it's made from the most exquisite, shiny rhinestones that are almost rainbow! They're not plain clear like they might appear to be!
The bookplate was the perfect place to add my word definition.

I actually had quite a lot of journaling for this layout, specifically listing some goals and further explaining of 'nurture'. I didn't plan for that when I was creating this layout (duh) so I just turned the layout over and wrote it all on the back. And it covers the whole back of the layout!
I would love to hear if any of you have a word for 2011!
